The Annual CSA Family Pea Pick & Farm Tour
Our CSA customers are invited to the farm for the family Pea Pick! Glean the pea field together, eating and harvesting fresh Sugar Snap pea pods as you go.
Please wear farm-appropriate footwear – flip flops are discouraged.
We will start the tour at 11:15 and turn folks loose in the field from 11:45-1. The kids can also pet the goat, sheep and lambs, and pony and say hi to the chickens.
The Annual CSA Family Pumpkin Pick
Sunday, September 16, 2018
Our CSA customers are invited to the farm to pick their pumpkins from the pumpkin patch from 3-5 p.m. This year we'll have the traditional orange jack-o-lanterns plus some white pumpkins, pie pumpkins, and tiny white and orange ones.
We’ll do family photos for all of you again, with the pumpkins and autumn decor. Plus, we will peel garlic / separate cloves in preparation for fall planting, and the big kids can help!
Set to the Oktoberfest playlist on the loudspeaker, we’ll have lawn games, the usual petting zoo, and you're welcome to stay for beers and a bonfire afterward.
The farm is not ordinarily open to the public, but we do host tours by reservation and a few public events each season:
